I am a native New Orleanian, but have been living in NE Mississippi (Starkville) for 12 years now, having moved here in 1996. I've never become a full fledged MSU fan, though my wife graduated from here in '86. I've always bled purple and gold since I was a kid!!

BTW, we in Mississippi have a good chance of electing a Democrat in the 1st district. Democrat Childers vs. Repuke Davis, though Greg Davis is playing RW gutter politics as usual, trying to paint Childers and Obama as best buddies. Quite frankly, if I were him, I'd be flattered. Though we know how that crap plays up here in redneck Mississippi!! I'm in the 3rd Congressional District, where Joel Gill Democrat faces Gregg Harper Repuke in November. Sadly, I don't think Gill has much of a chance, though I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Sadly, everyone fears the media so much that few will actually pluck the culprit in all of this, the media itself. Certainly FAUX is the most culpable, but it all has focused intensely on this guilt-by-association thing. It will become more apparent that the media is using this racist tactic if they continue covering this issue, and don't report honestly when Republicans use this racial tactic.

people are sick and tired of the rev. wright issue and want to hear "real" news. Most of them don't have access to internet and hardly knew how Obama stood on issues. Thats what they want to hear! Sunday night, Andy Rooney spent his few minutes honoring Mike Wallace as a fine journalist who just turned 90.

Chris Wallace has proven repeatedly that he is not following his father's footsteps and is not acting as a journalist. He's just following the Fox memos and bringing home the bucks.

I'm proud of John Dean for standing his ground on this. There's plenty to talk about with John McCain's relationship with Hagee.

I don't post very often, but this kind of shit pisses me off no end.
