4. I know..I was distressed on Sat. at the lack of interest...

Last I looked then his testimony had only had been viewed 123 times, with only three recommends, the others even less, at YouTube. Now the ratings for all of those vids has been disabled.

I'm really hoping that the more media interviews Sands does, the more what he's saying to Congress will be heard, as he gains better name recognition. The next hearings are in June, so hopefully by then people will know what's going on, with Addington in the hot seat. And listen!

2. Wow. This guy is realy articulate.

It will be interesting to see if the issue of torture becomes central to the Obama-McCain confrontation. At times, McCain has argued forcefully against torture, but also has been extremely supportive of Bush/Cheney on this subject.

There is risk in attacking him as a flip-flopper on this because of McCain's own experience with torture. A reasonable person might say that such a personal experience with torture would cause a same man to have some conviction about his position. That might be the angle. If McCain can't even talk straight about torture, what can he talk straight about?
