I mean, since the poll was done by the tv station itself, wouldn't they just have emailed it to the news team?

in a story that could simply have been sent from one part of the building to another by email or even over the phone.

It's sort of like those "overseas correspondents" who do live feeds from Baghdad or wherever in which they stand there reading AP wire copy.

Was the whole point here just to say "look guys...we got a van..."?

(although if it was a "fucking mobile newsroom", shouldn't the reporter have been fucking while he read the poll results?)

I grew up in Salem and was born in Newport.

9. La Grande. Eastern Oregon has 2 republicans for every 1 democrat

so it's a struggle to speak out around here. Obama is holding strong with democrats and some republicans who switched to be a democrat to vote for him. Some of the news coverage (Obama smears) has affected a few of the voters but most of them won't vote for Hillary either (I found some definite Hillary supporters though). So there is some convincing to be done before the GE. Maybe my very republican friend is right "Obama needs to say the pledge of allegiance before every speech". There were many I ran into who were spooked by the possibility that he is not patriotic. Most of them came around and realized he was the best choice.
