3. Hey Pat,,,
If it was about race, then why in the hell did Doug Wilder only manage to get 10 percent of the African-American vote when he ran for the POTUS nomination? Why did Macon, GA replace a black Mayor with a white Mayor when the majority of people in the city are black?

How did Obama win Iowa, Vermont, and other predominantly "white states?"

Pat, you are a racist dumbfuck. The world is changing. Change with it, or shut the fuck up.

4. He stumbled over MLK's name... Isn't there a variant of his name used
by racists? I forget what it is. I wonder if he was trying to avoid saying it?

8. None of these morans mention the appeal of Obama's message,
nor the energy and conviction in which he delivers it. That's what is appealing to voters.

The "us versus them" statement he made (not in this video) was very telling as well. They need to send this old coot off to Bosnia.

that Buchanan, when pressed by Matthews, wouldn't say this would be a better country if racism didn't exist.

15. Some are missing the point of this scripted MSM message. Good journalist/bad journalist
being played here, much like good cop/bad cop. Mitchell/Tweety say that Obama transcends race and at the same time say that West Virginian's are racists if they do not vote for Obama the candidate who transcends race.

Pat Buchanan then comes back with "How come African-Americans get to vote for the guy who gives them the warm and fuzzies but no one else is allowed to?"

A lot of viewers will hear this exchange and think to themselves "Hey, ain't I a woman?" (to quote Sojourner Truth) or "I liked Bill Clinton. I like his old lady. How come I have to be a racist if I want to vote for her? It's not fair!"

This creates an artificial division within the Democratic Party along racial grounds, the same kind of division that the Republicans are always trying to stir up with their reverse discrimination law suits. And it depends upon Tweety and Andrea first claiming that anyone who does not vote for Obama is a racist and then Buchanan saying "But that isn't fair!"

They are trying to divide and conquer Democrats, guys. Neither set is attempting to stand up for Obama or Democrats. This is a great big con job so that GE can get McCain elected so he will rubber stamp new nuclear power plant start ups in the US. There are suddenly about 20 requests for new nukes pending. GE makes over 11 billion a years building nukes in other countries. Now it wants to build them here.

Pat Buchanan and Tweety and Andrea are just helping them out.

18. they don't have to make a divide between us.
hillary and her camp have done a fine job. this is Hillary's argument. it sounds disgusting coming from pat. it sounds worse coming from hillary. she has also cast out the netroots-that is us we are the netroots. she has carved up the party-hispanics won't vote for barack. it is very sad what has happened during this primary season. the msm isn't totally to blame-hilly deserves some of that. she has done such damage that i don't think she can fix it in time for the ge. i have no doubt that we will have a pres obama and he will do his best to bring the party together.

24. nukes
It was my understanding that the nuke power industry has hooks into both Clinton and Obama, too. No? Hopefully I'm wrong about this.

Assuming that there really are terrorists in the world who want to do us harm (debatable, but it makes sense given many of the things the US does), isn't nuclear power about the last thing we'd want to pursue? The potential for sabotage of a nuke plant is truly terrifying.

If anyone can point me to info on the Dem candidates' ties (or lack thereof) to the nuclear power industry, I'll check it out when I get time, this is a disturbing development and with the future of the fossil fuel industry looking so limited (let alone global warming), there will be a lot of pressure to go nuclear. Resist.

23. Chris Matthews was a Peace Corps volunteer for two years in Swaziland, South Africa.
I know this because my son will be there in five weeks, and he was excited to find out that Chris Matthews was assigned to that country, too. Sometimes I love Matthews, sometimes not so much. But, it's nice to see that he champions racial equality.

25. Pat ruined it
This rant of Buchanan's was so inappropriate to the moment, it pretty much ruined the coverage of what was to me an amazing event, seeing Edwards endorse Obama.

Pat is everywhere on MS-NBC. I'm so tired of seeing this racist. I'm going to write them about it. He went way too far this time and is just not a voice that should be so widely heard on any "respectable" (yeah, I dunno, are they respectable? probably not) media outlet.

Come on people, write, take action, enough Pat Buchanan already.

27. What Bukkkanhan doesn't get
Is that the poor, white coal miners in the hills of West Virginia have more in common with the poor, inner-city blacks in Philadelphia than the rich, white, elitist politicians - like McCain & Clinton - that they've been programmed to vote for.
