2. Harold Ford: Obama will "enjoy success" if he runs a "moderate/conservative" campaign
Edited on Mon May-19-08 12:29 AM by rocknation
because that's "on the ascendancy?" And you'd enjoy success, too, because that's the only way your DLC can stay in business!

3. How the hell does Huckabee get a seat at that table as an analyst when he himself
was a presidential candidate and is now actively courting McCain to put him on the ticket?

And why did Russert feel impelled several times to refer to him as Vice President McCain?
Is that not pandering to the nth degree?

4. Ford would have been right there with the Big Dog in 92 and 96 telling him the same thing...
move to the middle, give up major concessions to the GOP and back conservative view points and ignore the liberal majority of the party who opposes the right wing style of "social conservatism", and embrace your inner-Republican.

:puke:

I don't think Barack is going to back down from the moderately liberal viewpoints he has and is pushing for - it would be politically disastrous and his poll numbers would drop. He can win all the right states being who he is and HaroldGerald Ford can kiss it...

5. They shoot elephants don't they?
Was Huckabee inadvertently hinting at McCain's relationship with the gun owners. http://www.gunowners.org/mccaintb.htm

And yet a great many cons believe that we liberal Dems are out to raise their taxes and TAKE AWAY THEIR GUNS.

So what's it gonna be Huckabee? Should mCcain drop his 'liberal' stance and act MORE republican or should he go even more Democrat?

(Huckster, ya'll are sooooo screwn!)
