3. Funny that...
It's funny that they'd point out Tucker Carlson, who's a dishonest douche bag at least 75% of the time in my eyes (and a right wing libertarian), and Chris Matthews who Stephanie Miller has pointed out time after time has on air issues with women. He DOES tend to be misogynistic, and even I can see that. But that doesn't make Obama voters misogynistic which I see Clinton supporters say on here from time to time.

I just want to point out, while the comments of one woman calling another a "bitch" is most likely not because this women hates other women, it's just because that's how she feels emotionally about Clinton. She isn't hating Clinton because of her sex, she is simply hating her because of her knowledge and the right wing slander of Clinton on a whole set of issues including the bogus Vince Foster thing, which I JUST heard from my older female neighbor the other day!

Hillary has forgotten about the other 17 million people, men and women, black and white that have voted for Obama when she makes her arguments, and this is why WE are mad at her! NOT because she is female!

Bah, this argument is NOTHING when you pair it with Clinton's assassination quip and that Faux News pundits BS from today.

6. It's a terribly sad thing that the joy and hope that began our primary campaign --
how proud many of us felt to be Democrats, with a woman and an African-American (and a Latino) as candidates -- have been diminished by evidence that both racism and sexism are still very much with us.

7. And a lot of plain old hate, too
Politics gives a lot of people an excuse to "vent". A lot of the behavior is far too incoherent and out-of-control to be able to sustain racial or gender antagonism -- it's more like an angry infant screaming or an injured animal's howl. Not to minimize either sexism or racism, but the mindlessness of some of the hate and haters is even more atavistic.

The idea that one of our own (actually, both, to different people) would bring this out is the real sad part. I don't think that Hillary or Barack are the cause of it. I think it's our own version of the "Freepers", having a field day.

It should be over soon. Then we can work on taking back the reins of government.

All I know is that Hillary didn't have bodyguards starting all the way back in May of 2007.

10. Quit Whining!!! My God,
Hillary has played into this sexism fantasy! She has used it against any an all males to get what she wants. Is there male chauvinism pigs out there, you bet there is. She knew this when she ran. Barack Obama is dealing with racism. It's the world we live in. She needs to go away. If she just stop lying, people will give her the benefit of the doubt. She also too DAM calculating! I'm sorry, people don't like her, including women. That's her fault, and not men. She need to stop blaming everyone for her own deficiencies. She has hurt woman causes for years to come. I have no problem having a women as President, just not this one.

11. Sexism
From my experience Women and Society are much more sexist to-wards men who step out of their societal and gender norms. I'm not talking about being gay, just being a house husband can get a lot of flack in most places, questions about when your getting a job never stop, your looked down upon.

It's less a sexism and more a societal rebellion against the current norms. Ignoring those that hate Hillary Clinton. Most don't hate women, it's not Misogyny it is about someones societal place and how when people disturb that it bothers them.

You can look at it in the broad picture, or in small conversations where people act outside the norm with verbal and non-verbal cues. Just look at the situation with the 5 year old who was voted outside of class because he essentially had this issue.

That is an aspect of sexism.

A male taking on the responsibilities of a female is considered less of a man is because it is acceptable and expected for a woman to perform duties that are "beneath" a man. It is one reason that some people do not like homosexuality; whether because it is a female taking on a "dominant" role or a male taking on a "submissive" role--a "butch vs. bitch" dichotomy, if you will.

A person can be sexist without, necessarily, hating that gender.
