1. Loved the video. Have one quick question. I think most people here
at DU knows that Rachel is gay and don't care. She is smart, quick, funny and talks circles around any and all repugs - no matter how loud they yell or how hard they try to filibuster. She is good. Very good. Extremely good.

I just thought the comment about meteors not showering down in Mass. after gay marriage was passed was funny (and accurate). But at the end Keith ends the interview telling Rachel to "keep dodging those meteors." She laughs.

It just struck me as interesting (in a good way) that Keith just found a way to tell MSNBC viewers that Rachel is gay. No real reason one way or the other to add that unless Keith is somehow letting people know without making a big deal out of it in (now here goes the wishful thinking, hoping, etc.) preparation for her getting her own show.

I know I am not wording this correctly but it seemed so out of character for Keith to even allude to a person's sexual orientation without a good reason that I immediately thought they are prepping her and getting out the info (for the dumb asses in the audience) before launching her a show. Did anyone else find those last 10 seconds a little more significant than just an easy sign off?

4. That would be awesome if she were getting her own show...
but I took the exchange and comment from KO as more of a friendly joke thing. They seem really close and wouldn't be surprised if they socialize outside of work.

3. The people who oppose gay marriage just like to control people's lives. They don't care about the

actual issue. They just hide behind their stupid religious bullshit (that almost all of them don't even really believe in; it's just a convenient ideology passed down to them by their parents and communities that they stick with because it provides a pretext for bully-like, invasive behavior) to legitimize their desire to interfere with other people's personal lives. I'm tired of these motherfuckers. They're fucking frauds.

McCain is NOT losing, by the way. Taking into account Bush's record-low public opinion ratings, just by being tied with either Democratic candidate in the polls, McCain is winning. Under normal circumstances, the polls would indicate a tie, but given the situation, McCain is winning.

And, yes, Keith, McCain does expect to get only positive coverage because, with the exception of you and the editorial page in the New York Times, that is what he gets. He will continue to get sickeningly positive coverage from the nearly all of the corporate press for the duration of the campaign and his forthcoming presidency.
