changing our country by just running is so true. I felt it at the two rally's I went to and while canvassing for Obama. Now that our primary is over people are coming out of the woodwork in support of Obama. So many people who I know usually vote republican are saying they will vote for him in the GE. People like this I can't wait to get out to talk to. One friend who's kids told mine during the 2000 election, while they were in grammar school, that "if Gore was voted in that he would break all their guns in half". It was that kids mom at my front door yesterday thanking me for letting them know about Obama's Town Hall in a near by town that i was helping hand out tickets for. Both her high schoolers were amazed by Obama and she was too. They thanked me for exposing them all to him (and there was no mention of guns this time!).
