Maybe McClellan figures it wouldn't hurt to be a bit proactive here, and make a bundle of money on book royalties as a kicker. In which case he knows which way the wind blows.

Doesn't Dean now have a somewhat established reputation for being honest? It seems to me that he does. In any event, I see nothing to be gained by doubting the power of redemption. So, I'm not very fazed by this, but McClellan sure is throwing a bomb into the room! Very dramatic timing. It makes me very interested in what the future will bring
