but saying, "I'm sorry," coming clean, and seeking redemption doesn't insure he will find it.

There is a huge difference between killing for our nation on the battle field, and cold blooded murder. It's sort of like killing the guy that murders your child instead of waiting for justice, except even worse because it's a completely innocent person.

I'll pray for his soul, and the many thousands who share this terrible shame.

9. we lost the Kurds too, not just Iraqi Arabs

when Bush gave the Turkish Army military intelligence on Kurdish rebels during the Turkish attacks a few months ago. So now the Kurds hate us too.

We've done our job. Mission accomplished. Now everybody in Iraq hates us (and justifiably so).
