1. Why is Tucker still on teevee?
does anybody really take him seriously, or is he supposed to be comic relief?

3. Did bow boy really say a "beach-in"of democracy instead of beacon? Tucker is there to remind
us how pathetic the GOP is.

11. He said "beachhead", which is the correct term, but you're right on the "pathetic" part.
Now it's time to sweep the Grand Old Pathetics off the beach and into the sea where they can drown in their own failure.

2. Why is Tucker Carlson still on TV?
Edited on Fri May-30-08 11:40 AM by johnlal
I thought he was fired for having poor ratings. If I were Chris Matthews, I wouldn't want to have that big snooze on my show.

On edit..Sorry, Virginia Dare, you beat me to it!

7. I like Tucker. I rarely agree with him, but at least he's funny and interesting.
I can see why everybody hates him, though.

8. I thought that was a good line.

Those architects of the Iraq Occupation were intelligent people, but they were idiotically unrealistic (unless, of course, the plan all along was to create chaos for an excuse to stay forever). Only rich people who have lived very charmed lives since birth could be that foolishly optimistic about anything. But it looks like they set out to create a ditch with all designers and no diggers.

9. tucker: The fact that McClellan was press secretary at all... We could say the same for Bush.
What a hilarious idiot! The GOP party because of people like Tucker are going to get their asses handed to them for a very long time. People are engaged and they see Tucker and all the rest of these right wing blowhards for what they are... LIARS! The Republican party is the way you never want to go in the 21st century.

13. Tucker is so funny.
He's that far from becoming a cartoon character. That overly precious attitude of indignation, revulsion, prissy-pissyness, and hard-to-please pissed-offed arrogance is great for TV because he skirts the line of self-parody (and frequently crosses it) when he opens his mouth.

My two favorite moments? These:

Check out the sweaty-palms backpeddling. Reminds me of Fred Flintstone trying to start his car.

Then, there's this. Looks like a "lite" lapdance. Nice going, twinkletoes.
