1. This was the point where Howard became the Right's best buddy
and with their Right-Wing suit perpetuating the myth that Clinton could have had bin Laden 3 times ...

Howard was their buddy until he decided to have their other RWer (Scott dePace?) have to get into an intellectual debate with Al Franken ... basically going up against a nuclear missile with a pea shooter ...

3. Howard was never "the right's buddy". He temporarily accepted the Neocon bullshit on Iraq

thats it.

He voted for Gore, ne never EVER, even when he was bashing critics of the war (his worst offense in political judgement ever and he admits that) he never indicated he thought Bush was a particularly good president overall or that he should be reelected.

He declared himself fervently Anyone but Bush 2 days BEFORE Clearchannel dropped him from their stations, which in my opinion was the true first big shot of the Indecency McCarthyism of 2004. And for atleast 4 or 5 months before that had ended his pro-right-wing rants and slowly begun his anti-Bush rants.

4. Howard was rah-rah-rahing the war for quite some time, until
the Janet Jackson boob crackdown ... that's how I said that he was the "right's" buddy ... as long as he kept pushing Bush, they were willing to "look the other way" ... as soon as he started turning against Bush, the righties realized that he would be influencing the (alleged) average Joes of the planet ... he was to be stopped at any cost ... ergo, Clear Channel Cheerleader had to drop him ...
