5. Interesting dichotomy...

I always thought that song expressed a complaintive and lethargic attitude. Compare that with to the Gandhi quote at the end, "Be the change you want to see in the world".

6. I thought it was lethargic at first, too -

It really irritated me at first. Then I realized that it does express a longing for change and suggests the songwriter has a vision.

For people who've been truly lethargic, thinking that they need concern themselves with no more than Anna Nicole - the song may make them think.

Waking the people takes a lots of voices with a variety of different messages that will work in different ways for different people...

And Island Blue's call for action superimposed over the song will give it new meaning for some.
