I know they consider themselves bluegrass, which I tend to like. But, I bought their CD just to support them for speaking out. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it. It's been a very pleasant surprise.

They are awesome and I don't just mean their music.

3. Saw them at MSG when they came to New York.

Great time had by all. They entered the stage while "Hail to the Chief" was playing. After they performed "Not Ready to Make Nice" the crowd cheered for a good, solid 5 minutes. The Chicks looked stunned and overwhelmed. Natalie pointed out the gay boy in the audience with the sign "Gay, but still love the Chicks". The crowd was half gay boys, half girls. It was amazing!
