John McCain runs to dictionary to look up "irascible"...finds out it means "angry".

Then he gets angry.

3. McCain: Wrong Temperment
Howard Dean is absolutely right. McCain is a known hothead, and his Senate colleagues especially know it. That's why it's always funny to see him trying to use measured tones, "My friends..." when really he'd like to rip someone's head off in a fit of PTSD. After McCain loses the election, I can imagine him as a greeter at Wal-Mart, "Hello, my friends. Hello, my friends..."

4. It was a thing of beauty to watch. The good doctor brings up McCain's "checkered" career...
... and Obama's presidential temperament. Yay!

25. I was glad to see that mentioned.
I remember when Dean first criticized Bush in 2003....the world nearly came to an end. Dems just did not do stuff like that.

21. I give up on this rating system. Went early to greatest page.
then off.

Then it was what...Must Read? Is that better than Recommended or worse.

SO...if it was must read then people are marking it down from this afternoon.

I guess that's how it is going to work here. Not the quality or the content....which is good in this case. Not me...Dean's interview.

SO if it works that way...

22. Partial transcript from Huff Post
"The Democrats are what's protecting the American taxpayers from the likes of John McCain and George Bush. ... What Barack is trying to do is shore up American confidence...it must be a bill that protects taxpayers and mortgage payers, and does not give huge amounts of money to CEOs pocketing taxpayers' money.
On McCain:

He was involved himself in the last big meltdown we had, the savings and loan scandal, taking money from Charles Keating...The question is do you want the next president to be somebody who got us into this mess and has a long history of being involved in these kinds of scandals on the wrong side, or do you want this next person to be calm, thoughtful and willing to work across partisan lines to get together a package that we can work with?
On the debate:

Senator Obama is probably better at leading us through foreign crises than Senator McCain is, Senator McCain is apt to react to things in sort of a hot-headed way, he's a little irascible. I think you'll see a calmness and thoughtfulness in Senator Obama, and that's the kind of leader we want."

24. Yes. This is being rated down from this afternoon.
I doubt it has to do with the content, as there is no doubt that it was a great interview. Once it was on greatest, it should have at least stayed there.

I find this system open to possible abuse, because there are many who organize other places and get threads high.

Some depend on quality, and some don't have buds at other places to depend on.

I doubt it has to do with the content.
