I don't agree with a lot of things Stern says on his Sirius show, but I respect his opinion.

6. people are told what to think...in general

most people 'mob up' when public opinions are formed- that's why DU is such a relief! And btw that's also why SOME public service newsmedia has to be publicly funded/firewalled off, from political oversight! Stern is too little, too late (like Dave Letterman etc) in terms of criticising the ways democracy works...that cat's otta the bag
