I was born in Ohio and lived there until I was 12, then my
family moved to Baltimore - where I have stayed. My entire
family lives in Ohio now, and when my mom asks me if I'd be
interested in moving back, I just laugh, then give a very
serious "no way in hell.".  I've visited my family
from time to time, and each time I go back to Ohio, I'm more
disappointed and dumbfounded. I swear, you get 2 blocks from
the OSU campus, and you are in retarded, knee-jerk,
holy-roller land.  I don't understand how my family lives
there.

17. It's difficult to go through some days here without the urge

to flat out assault a mouth-breather. Thing are getting a little scarier here lately. The morons are getting belligerent, and aggressive now that their party is going down the toilet. they know the end is near for their precious power. The sad thing is, the republicans have screwed everyone of them too and they are too stupid to realize it. I've lost a girlfriend over this because her family are a bunch of "good church going right wingers", and she's starting to become one of them. I barely speak to my father anymore, because he's an obtuse McCain supporter.

I'm sorry.  Last time I was in Ohio - Steubenville (one of the
most depressing and depressed towns around) - was probably 2
years or so ago. What I don't understand is the unwillingness
to see whats wrong - the huge job loss and horrible economy -
and what has been responsible for it.  You know, I can believe
how scary it must be getting.  The steel towns have always
been rough and tumble, and I can see it turning very ugly when
people start lashing out - unfortunately, it is very
misdirected and counterproductive. I just don't get that kind
of world.

I feel for you.  And while you're not headed my way, welcome
to the coasts...
