McCain is the GOP mule candidate. He was only allowed to win out of desperation. Like a sleeper cell, McCain has been carefully attaching himself as a friendly political celebrity with the media whores, carefully building his image as a snarly "maverick" all the while still managing to vote 90% of the time down repuke party lines. Now he is activated into service to the neo con elite, as their last white hope, and he gladly sheds 25 years of whatever respect he had built by flip-flopping on everything from the state of the economy, to the Veterans bill, to the upper crust tax cuts including now a promise to reduce them further and more permanently. I remember a John McCain that stated publicly that it was a mistake to have such massive tax cuts to the wealthy in a time of war. I had a different opinion about McCain back then.

And the most remarkable flop of all was his solid public stance that from his experience, torture does not work, its not worth it yada yada yada. and then works against his own bill banning torture and then praises Dubya for vetoing it , or was that another signing statement I get confused.

Oh John, what if Karl is over his head in this one and it doesn't work and you will shuffle off into the sunset a man defeated not only in the political arena, but in the moral arena. You'll be left disoriented lost with no supporters willing to trust your erraticly fickle policy decisions. Good night and good luck.
