Just curious. I know of Southern Illinois University, but not Southern University. The band's marching was excellent; the women's costumes were stupid looking. But we must cater to the sexual needs of our male masters, right?

They play in NOLA every year in the "Bayou Classic" against Grambling.

It's something you have to see. I saw the Grambling band perform at of all places a Dallas Mavericks game in the late 80's. Unbelievable! It was much better than the game itself.

Have only ever seen Grambling, not Southern.
