3. Scarborough needs to grow a brain.
And everything Todd said in this segment is absolute horseshit. Baldface lies. Why is he knocking Hollywood? His fucking GOD was a Hollywood star. We gotta keep the know-nothings like Sean Penn out of politics. We need more know-nothings like Sarah Palin.

4. Not easy
Franken doesn't believe it is easy to run for the Senate. He has been working his butt off for a very long time now. And if you listened to him when he was on Air America you would know how well informed he is on all the issues. Chuck Todd should just shut his mouth. And how many top movie stars would want to give up their big salaries to be a Senator or Congressman?

Wotta buncha horse shit. Whenever an actor or an ex-jock runs for office it's ALWAYS on the Republican ticket. Or at least 9 times out of 10. (Is Heath Shuler a Democrat? Not sure.)

(Oops- somebody already mentioned Gofer.)

6. Have any of these douchebags read Franken's books?
Franken displays more humanity, grasp of the issues, outrage, intelligence . . . in his books than almost any other author I've ever read. Just because he has made his living in the entertainment industry doesn't mean he couldn't be an outstanding public servant.

What a bunch of a**holes.

Of all the things we need to discuss/worry about, this one is non-existent...he is just trying to justify his salary now that he can't go on MJ and play with his state map...

15. I feel sorry for this country - what bs, what vile bs. I feel sorry for Keith Oblerman and
Rachel Maddow. Ifeel sorry for every person who spends one dime on products of the companies who buy advertsing from GE.

This is worst slime slam I've ever listened to.

Some Senator should call GE on this.

Filthy lies = way down in the depths of sewers.

doesn't have to be bought out.

Perhaps they are resentful of his Wellstone link.

I think it says a lot about their fear of a 60 count or of him. Perhaps they think he won't be a Ben Nelson or a Mary Landrieau. Here's hoping, anyway.

I cringed when Todd checked in on C-Span from The Hill. He was way over the line partisan on C-Span. He is in the NBC sewers now and can really let loose. I don't watch Scarborough because they are now worse than FOX starting in the morning.

I watched this video because it was about Franken and this was pathetically hideous.

Chuck Todd is worse than Hannity or Limbaugh because he is supposed to have some integrity.

Bought out - all three of them.

Don't let your child go into journalism if this is what they think it is.

18. I recently thought about how much fun it wojuld be to work around him.
He is extremely intelligent. He is taking himself seriously. He has been motivated by Wellstone. That's enough for me. That may be too much for others.

22. Totally true
Morning Joe is the worst of the 3 morning shows on cable TV news. Even worse than Fox and Friends because Fox And Friends is like frat boys and sorority girls hosting a right wing comedy show. Morning Joe is basically a Sarah Palin love fest and shit all over anything having to do with Democrats. Fuck Joe Scarborough and now fuck Chuck Todd.

an interview with Chuck Todd (forget where...maybe media bistro) where he said the journalist who he most aspires to be like is Tom Brokaw, because he is "respected by both parties". Rightttt. And he also said that he considers NYC to be a cesspool.

32. I actually agree with Chuck on one point . . .
"If they'd had stronger candidates in the Georgia and Minnesota races they'd be over by now." Franken, say what you will about him, certainly had a lot of baggage going into this race and if a more conventional Democratic candidate had run I think they would've wiped the floor with Coleman. And I'm not saying Franken isn't smart, but he's not a genius, he's not so much better than the average politician it was worth taking the chance he'd lose. No, I would've rather had a sure thing in that race. And that brings me to another point . . .
Please God do not let Chris Matthews run for PA Senate. Someone like Patrick Murphy could seriously have a shot at taking out Spector, have we learned nothing from Minnesota.
But, ultimately, I disagree with the idea that Joe put out that Dems want Franken to lose. A senate seat is a senate seat, and Coleman is a complete piece of garbage. But I think if we'd had a better candidate this recount wouldn't even be necessary.
