7. Both dems and repubs (POP) fear him getting national exposure.
POP is the People's Obstructionist Party formerly known as the republican party because all they do now is obstruct any and all legislation coming into the senate just to prevent the dems initiating any real change. They offer no new policies or plans except protecting the business and the holdings of the wealthy and the multinational corporations. Everything else is blocked through filibuster by these obstructionist. Thanks to POP legislation by the majority is blocked.

29. I would have no problem if every Dem (including Pelosi) was jailed
if they contributed to shrub's crimes. The law is the law. The law is supreme and government should be governed by the law. Nobody is above the law.

I would be happy if Patrick Fitzgerald was AG. He seems like he understands our Constitution, or maybe Glenn Grennwald. That would be OK too.

24. And?
I think that's what makes Glenn Greenwald damn near a Saint for calling them exactly the way they are. I'm for getting rid of DINO's just as much as rethugs, if not MORE. At least with the repugnant's, you know where they stand. Glenn is a statesman in the same class as Dennis Kucinich and Russ Feingold. A true hero for our rights.

13. Superb, simply excellent. WOW.
I have been waiting SOOOO long to see this two get together and discuss the most important issue of our time. There is nothing else as vital as getting this subject into the common man's head and letting him realize the gravity of the situation. The economy, the wars, or anything else you can think of, PALES in comparison to getting back the RULE of LAW! I'm floored by the greatness of this show and it will be a classic always with me. Barack Obama needs every last one of us to go to his website and INSIST that Bush Crime INC. are brought to justice. This Patrick Fitzgerald guy seems to be stainless steel so LET'S HOLD HIM RESPONSIBLE!!!! LET'S GET MR. FITZGERALD INVOLVED!!! If you love this country half as much as you think you do, this needs to be done! Yes. We. Can!
I've always respected Bill and Glenn, but they really outdid themselves with this show!

22. Just glanced at your link...
interesting, thanks.

"BILL MOYERS: What do you mean when you call President Bush a Manichean warrior? I mean, most people don't know what Manichean is and don't care. What do you mean by it?

GLENN GREENWALD: Well, the idea of being a Manichean comes from this third century BC philosophy that - or religion really that basically understood the world, a never-ending battle between the forces of pure good and the forces of pure evil. And all human events could be understood said adherence to this religion through that prism..."

with EMMA COLEMAN JORDAN.

http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/12122008/transcript4.html

"...BILL MOYERS: So help me understand why it is that institutions that take so much of your, my, and everyone else's money is spending it - are spending it on dividends.

EMMA COLEMAN JORDAN: Well, because there's no accountability. We have a leadership at the Treasury Department that has decided we'll just trust them...

...BILL MOYERS: Let me take it one step deeper because workers and ordinary people were getting the shaft, as you say in your upcoming book, long before this meltdown. And here's the question that goes to whether or not we have a fair economic system. Some of the financial corporations and individuals at the center of this crisis over the years contributed big sums of money to both parties...

EMMA COLEMAN JORDAN: I agree with you that our campaign financing and political financing system and the lobbying that takes place is a scandal, a shame. And it is a breach of the deepest trust of our democracy. Anyone who believes in the Jeffersonian ideal of a democracy in which we have transparency and we have accountability, the flood of money coming in has meant that we can't trust decisions. This has been an indictment of the way business and politics are done. And it is a cause for a serious consideration of deep finance reform for our political activities..."
