Gov. Sarah Palin's home church was badly damaged by arson, leading the governor to apologize if the fire was connected to "undeserved negative attention" from her failed campaign as the Republican vice presidential nominee. (Dec. 14)

Anyone check Todd's hands for gas residue? Or maybe they told the boy they'd call off the shotgun wedding if he'd just get some of his party buddies to do this one little favor.

Seriously, I hope they find this was a candle left unattended, an electrical short or some other Act of God (no pun intended, but hell, it's really tough not to). I'd hate to think anyone tried to punish or intimidate someone else by burning anything, esp a place that they hold sacred.
