Oh yeah, they were our allies against the Russians. Thanks reagan..... do'h course then we left them sitting with a turkey. But I don't entirely know the details on that, but in Rambo III , the Taliban were the good guys. In The Living Daylights, the Taliban were the good guys. Go figure.
