The cussing? I think those are your own hang ups. The fact that they don't wear suits doesn't weaken their points. I don't like the implication that we should reject someone's ideas because they don't look serious, professional and old enough. Leave that to the chamber of commerce crowd.

6 years in prison is serious time, and it makes me think they need to fill up the prisons with doctors so the Aids epidemic in the prison system gets treated.

So what if they just had sex? I guess I don't see the point here. This very same type of young and vivacious people are the ones that came out and droves and voted. We WANT them active and aware.

If they are happy, full of good humor while being active in politics/policy I'm all for that.

Thanks for leading me to the feministing.com website.

Maybe they are new at this. I find them both to be thoughtful, articulate, confident. Their message is important. Their delivery, amateurish but sincere. Have we become such an "entertain me" society that we can't listen unless things are glitzed up? Sadly, I think yes. If I want the talking heads, I watch tv. This is commentary...people's personal opinion. Can't really dress that up.

This is information that doesn't seem to show up in MSM. What a surprise.:eyes:

I humbly suggest that appearance critics try to sit in front of a video camera and make an argument. It's not as easy as you might think.:blush:
