Health care is a right for some but a privilege for others? :wtf: I'd would've liked for him to explain that further...

Socialism? Because capitalism has worked so well...

7. I was impressed at the number of RW talking points he fit in
that discussion. He had socialism. Dems will make even bigger mistakes than the GOP. Illegal immigrants are breaking us. I believe Hillary was thrown in there somewhere. All we needed was an ACORN reference and some reminder of Bill Clinton's penis.

27. He won't because it's his "right"
but for the rest of us it's a privilege and for those of us that can afford health insurance they try to pay for as little as possible.

6. The reason they/we didn't choose health coverage....
is because a lot of us out here in the real world CAN'T FREEKIN AFFORD TO!!!!!!!!

Stick him in a retail job at minimum wage for awhile and maybe he'll get the point...then again, maybe not.

the anchor was NOT LETTING HIM GET AWAY WITH THE "health care is a right for some." meme. Do you think that would have happened 3 years ago?

Come on folks, it's new day....but with baby steps.

10. one way to cut costs is to stop paying for congress' health care.
Let them see what it's like to look for health insurance on the open market, especially since many of them are over 45 years old. They can afford to buy their own, considering we pay them very well. Perhaps then they will understand the need for Single Payer health care.

14. Are all politicians from the Deep South idiots?
I KNOW there are some great people that live in the Southeast and those other rural red states, but holy shit. This turd just needs his sheet and hood, and he'd be able to REALLY scare some people.

All this bull shit he is tossing out in one breath is JUST BULL SHIT! Really? ...he's 'gonna' take away our mortgage deduction and our charitable deductions?....Did you just pull that out of your ass Gomer?

Honest to God, people that buy in to this crap the right wing nut cakes are tossing out there have to be dumb ass idiots just like him. "Half the people who don't have health insurance turned it down."...Really? Where did you pull that figure from?....your dirty little ass again?

Just too much to comment on from this butt licker. Tennessee, find somebody with some f*cking brains to represent you down there. The majority of people in TN can't be that f*cking dumb!

One last comment...the "grand obstructionist party" clan are the biggest group of lying sons-of-bitches I've ever witnessed. What ever happened to truth? Do they shrivel up and blow away if they should speak it?

How is this a fast march towards socialism? So many people are in need and they don't care. No one chooses to be without health insurance...they're forced to be without it and just learn to deal.

Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 06:23 PM by George II
"Mrs Clinton" didn't try this a "few" years ago and the public didn't reject it. First, she tried a healtcare plan FIFTEEN years ago and the REPUBLICANS blocked it.

He goes on about "a trillion dollars" here, a trillion dollars" there, talking about Democratic bailout plans. The first multibillion dollar plan was bush's! And none of the bailouts are $1Trillion!

And why didn't he bring up "a trillion dollar war" here, "2 trillion dollar tax cuts to the rich" there?

He and his republican cohorts should some day take the time to study the definition of "socialism" - they like using the word often enough.

Aside from not knowing what socialism is, none of them ever tell us just what is so bad with "socialism" anyway!!!

30. He's Right!! It's a shared obligation amongst civilized peoples of the world
republicans clearly feel apart from any such shared obligations they feeling further they are not among the civilized peoples of the world. Choosing not to be covered *is* an option in a state of transition but there are other options...another option is to dismantle the republican canard that in health-care-for-profit in America and and to re-tool it to deliver timely health care http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TqxdsIb_6M

It seems that the "liberal" word does not spark fear like they used to hope it would. Now it's Socialism! So when Obama's ideas actually bear fruit than they will start using the word "Communist". How pathetic.
