The premise? Obama's poll numbers are skyrocketing, but Americans don't trust him. Hilarity ensues. :) -WB

1. Americans lost 50% under Obama?
So being in office less than two months is that influential? Really?

These idiots shouldn't be allowed such venues to spout this kind of crap. There are lies, damned lies, statistics and Publican talking points.

3. Yeah but it's Bill Kristol
The only people who believe a word that guy says are so far gone that they aren't worth thinking about. It was fun watching Sirota go off air yelling at him: "How much did they lose under Bush!", lol.

7. Could have been 15% but it sounded like 50%.
Plus it's Fox. They shouldn't be allowed to use the word "news" in any manner, anyway. And I realize that Kristol is an idiot, but I can't I still get outraged by it? Or is outrage one of these new Publican right/privilege concepts?

13. Your outrage is not..
uncommon. Most Americans are outraged by these Repubs. That's why they lost the last two elections and are just about extinct. People see through their lies and distortions.

16. He's saying 15%
Of course, maybe the market in 2007 was too high, eh, Bill? If the market is all-powerful, surely they couldn't be that far off?

17. Even as much as I hate Kristol
and I do, calling him "Kristolnacht" is in poor taste. Neoconservatives are quick to charge any critics with antisemitism. I think it's stupid to give them grist for their mill.

20. um you might notice that's it's ME calling HIM out as the Nazi fascist he is.
Edited on Fri Mar-06-09 07:31 AM by stlsaxman
For neocons to call liberals "anti-Semites" is like Peewee Herman saying "I know you are but what am i?"

22. It's still in bad taste
Similar to using a lynching metaphor when speaking of a black person.

Anyway, he's not like the Nazi thugs who perpetrated Krystallnacht. If you're searching for a Nazi analogue, may I suggest Carl Schmitt?

14. Little Billy Kristolnacht, i love it
So yes Little Billy Kristolnacht, Fuhrer of the Project for a New American Century and the secret propaganda fellatio-ist for lies and deceit was very giggly at the end there as he saw stars and little birdies swirl around his head.
"You can be glib, you can be glib!" that was so awesome and yet I cant stand this traitor, who the hell but some smarmy (thanks to whoever on DU! got this word in my current vocabulary) rich elite prick would use the word GLIB. I cant stand it!
So now that he and all his friends are losing SOoooooooooooooooo much money it's cool to attack Barack and blaim all these drops on him, however the dot.com bubble could never be blamed upon Dubyah as per the Republitard horde. So 6 weeks in all rules that applied to Dubyah are off and now after shocks on Wall Street are Obama's fault, too ironic.

So how much did the stock market lose under Bush anyway? Was it at 15k to 16k tops and then at 9,000 in January? he didnt answer that one and I was interested in knowing. And it is toaally possible that thees effects and blowback are still caused by bush, whats so hard to understand there?
