What Mr. Webb had to say was very interesting and a lot more intelligent than any thing Beck had to say. Most importantly, he stated the obvious: there isn't going to be a Communist revolution any time soon. That is a fact whether one is a Communist like Webb or not like . . . well, me. Or President Obama. Or Glenn Beck.

Unfortunatly, Mr. Beck was behaving like the typical FoxNews host, modeled after Bill O'Reilly. O'Reilly carries it to extremes by asking his guest a question and then screaming "shut up" or "cut his mike." Most FoxNews personalities just talk over their guest, as Beck did here to Mr. Webb. C'mon, guys, when you ask some one a question, you should also give him the courtesy of allowing him to answer. That can even be done by a host with hardened political views, as Rachel Maddow often demonstrates. You don't need to be so rude and you will serve the public better if you are not.

if i had a dollar for every time some right wing nut job told me hitler was a communist, id be rich. seriously. screw the fact that the majority of the original marxists/leninists were JEWISH. screw the fact they gave countless speeches about the horror of using anti-semitism(because the czars used it) as a means to control the masses and they recognised it was a play to whip up fear amongst the workers.

i also get stalin brought up a lot in communist 'discussions'(i use that term loosely as its usually me being 'educated' by someone on the right) and how hes the example of what communism is...
when in reality history tells us before lenin died he realized there was something mentally wrong with stalin... so did trotsky(and it got him thrown outa russia)... the real marxist/leninist/communist hated stalin ... and the true workers movement was forever halted and covered in blood from the reign of stalin.

they dont seem to be able to grasp the concept that good ideas are often hijacked by people with self serving interests... which is amazing since they support the idea of dog eat and dog and survival of the fittest.. youd think theyd be the first to understand power grabbing and playing off public distress and sentiment...

but ultimately they have no grasp or understanding of history or the evolution and past of political ideologies...

but when has truth or fact been important to their way of thinking?

they make up stuff, repeat it to everyone they know, and then suddenly its supposed to be fact...because hey they are so smart how could they be wrong with their opinion?

i mean seriously, they even give conservatism a horrible rap because they have no fucking clue what they are talking about... ever...

nothing is ever based on facts, but rather some made up history that never occurred in reality... and thats not even the conservative ideologies fault... its the people trying to spread the conservative message who are the complete dumb shits.

they do a huge dis-service to their own cause by going in front of millions and making shit up to suit their own way of thinking.

and thats fine by me, they can distort and try to rearrange history all they want... they will always come up the fool tho.

these days, i dunno if they even know what it means to be a conservative... somehow it became less about facts and accomplishing goals , and more about massive egos and who can puff out their chest the furthest.
