A lot of people in America viewed Barack Obama's presidential victory as a major step towards racial equality in America, and in a sense, it was. However, this doesn't mean that racism has been defeated, which is obvious when you look at the numbers on employment, incarceration, and even housing. What's even worse is that Obama's victory could be seen as a new form of racism, where only African Americans who meet a certain set of standards are deemed acceptable. Air America's Mike Papantonio talks with author Time Wise about what Obama's victory really means for race relations in America.
