This guy is a tough interviewer, really sort of on the attack. Dean did very well. He countered all his arguments and defended the president completely.

2. Who is the creep doing the interviewing? And, wow, does Howard Dean take

fire very well. Howard Dean is just amazing. He would have made a great president.

...and the interviewer was a total right wing stooge. He brought forth every right wing talking point he could fit in -- from Karl Rove, Rasmussen, and (Thomas?) Friedman. And Dean handled every attempt at framing the argument with aplomb.

Good on ya, Dr. Dean!

And for the interviewer -- what a corporatist right wing shill you are!

5. Bringing up Karl Rove was weird. Dean told him Rove was discredited.

The guy was sounding like he wanted to be on Hardball and sound tough...the Hardtalk label I guess meant he had to be pushy.
