17. It was amazing.
Jon schooled him on being a journalist, and how one confronts liars, and you can actually *see* him getting it.

He knows he sinned, and I seriously think he is going to do better now that he's been called on it.

It was an impressive conversation.

6. outstanding
thanks for posting hissy..Jon was dead on..but what you want to bet Cramer doesn't change a thing in his show. It's about ratings
and pandering to the market regardless of what they do to the country. Thanks to Jon Stewart who had the balls to call him out.

8. Synopsis
Stewart delivered the knock out punch early with the hedge fund clip and then just kept hitting and hitting and hitting. Cramer was a subdued bunny rabit. He couldn't defend a single thing and didn't even try. He took his beating and tried to look innocent "I was lied to" CEOS lied to me. Stewart called him out on this weak dodge. Cramer had nothing to fight with. Nothing. If you had never known of or seen Cramer before this, you'd think it was an unfair fight. Stewart really defended the average American. Cramer went home crying. It was like the Farkus incident in A Christmas Story. There was even some swearing.

9. Stewart didn't just school Cramer in this interview. He schooled
almost every single other "news" anchor, reporter, and talk show host out there with his interviewing skills. His work on Cramer impressed me even more than his legendary Crossfire skewering.

I wonder if Cramer could taste the irony as Jon told him what he and CNBC should be doing with all their precious access to CEO's and Wall Street bigwigs while actually demonstrating the technique on Cramer himself during the interview.

10. I must admit
not many will go on a show that has put them down, he is a very brave
man, to say some the things he said, I do hope that the FBI and SEC
where listening to that so they can get to the bottom of this and
prevent this from happening in the future.

11. honestly
as much as I think Cramer is a douchebag, hot-headed blowhard that has his ins into the system, I feel, after this interview, that theres a chance, a slight chance, that the 4th estate could turn around and become the watchdog that it should be. People like Cramer hold an important position in our country and world and should have their feet held to the fire whenever possible. Stewart and others like him are to the 4th estate what the press should be to the govt, and I'm so fucking glad we have smart people on our side. :-)

12. cramer's voice was quivering
and he was still trying to weasel his way out at the end.

the point cramer couldn't reconcile was the evidence that he was in on it, and his claim that they'll have to do a better job looking for the evidence. um, he was aware of the mistake, it was on purpose. stewart stopped pushing it as hard near the end.

16. Cramer's showed some stones putting up with that.
Many people would not.

(Have have a skeaky hunch that CNBC put a gun to his head. Cramer's whining tour did them much damage.)

18. Cramer should be
The neighbor of Bernie Madoff. Cramer is no better than Bernie. Who knows there could be a link. Cramer made himself the victim. "The CEO's lied to me" Really? I would feel bad if I honestly thought a stock was good and I told a friend and we lost money. That's just one person. Cramer manipulated the stock market. His phone records would be interesting.
