I think he lives in a fantasy world of his own creation. If there was a 9/11 plot (I suspect there was some form of a LIHOP) would you have let Bush in on it???? I mean the man is complete idiot. Cheney wouldn't have told him. He is a zero. That is why he was useful to them. And that is why he did the "deer in the headlights" so well - because that is exactly what he was.

If this was an honest incident, anyone could have come up with that.

Card tried to create a lot of cover for everyone else and no one there questioned him. Failure of the press to criticize this situation is a demonstration of complicity in the cover up, as far as I'm concerned.

They've had lots of time to polish and coordinate their stories.

So, the President of the United States and his top aides thought it was a small plane. Our renowned defense systems had their guard down. The Secretary of Defense could not be reached. And although it was already know that there was not one, not two, not three, but FOUR commercial airplanes apparently hijacked, the President and his top aides were not made aware of it.

So Card just strolls in and "makes sure to state it so there is no response" (and hmmm, just *why* again would you have wanted to do that?), and Ari has his facile explanation all at the ready as to why he was holding up his note with "Don't say anything yet" for El Prezidente -- these people are not credible at all. But we knew that.

This sounded like a rehearsed play. Again, that doesn't mean that the speakers are lying. It's just very purposefully carefully prepared.

You know, anyone could transcribe the words of this crowd and re-enact this performance -- anywhere. Find a fiend to play Andrew Card. Pick someone else to play Ari Fleischer. It was a reading. Everyone was calmly taking their turn reciting their lines. All agreed in advance. No questions here. Really strange.
