In the clip that Cenk played, Limbaugh says the bonues are paid on merit. What's so meritorious about driving your company off the cliff?

These uber-wealthy people have seen money come in to their coffers so easily for so long that they have totally forgotten how to actually earn their pay. So, when the companies they lead go broke, they still expect to be highly compensated as they were during profitable years.

I don't know what you'd call it, but it certainly isn't capitalism.

I have a story about Limbaugh. When I used to work with CBS, my main news contact was Dan Rather's publicist, a very nice woman and we were quite friendly. But then I learned that in real life she was dating Rush Limbaugh... x(

I felt kind of weird from then on, and was dying to say something, but I never found the right words... :scared:

But the story does have a happy ending. She got married to somebody else and quit her job because she had a baby. :-)

His mission, which he accepted for thirty years ago or so, is to sell to the peasants the idea that getting fucked over by the super rich is good for them and that they should enjoy it and be thankful for the crumbs left over and not complain if there aren't any crumbs.
