3. I really do think that people with NO knowledge of their heritage--ya know, "White" people...

...the ones who have no idea if their ancestors are german, english, irish, polish, swedish, etc. and never bothered to find out...

I really do think they're jealous of people who enjoy celebrating their roots. They hate multiculturalism because they feel left out.

A day where we get to celebrate how "the same" we all are? First of all, it's not true, we're NOT all the same--and second of all, how fucking boring would that holiday be?

4. As an Irish-American

I'm really pissed off at how there's some new wave of people trying to change St. Patrick's Day into "Shamrock Day" or--even worse--"Heritage Day" that's for everybody, and not just for Irish pride.

I'm sick of being labeled as a color ("white"), when we're every bit as diverse as people of different colors. My heritage isn't the same as those whose ancestors came from Germany, Sweden, Poland, or any other European country. And I really get pissed at so-called journalists referring to white people as "Anglos". That's not just offensive, but also inaccurate. The two largest ethnic groups in America right now are Germans and Irish. Being Irish, I'm CELTIC, thank you very much.

The problem with America is that nobody gives a damn about their past, including their heritage. When people list their ethnicity as "American" in the census, that just shows how incredibly stupid people have become.
