Hate crime laws are fairly arbitrary and redundant. Hell, I'm not even sure they could pass a good 14th amendment test.

7. The laws are needed
all you have to do is look at crimes committed against any minority group to see these laws are needed and the federal resources granted by such stats are very much needed.
