2. Everytime I start to have doubts he gets all smart and sensible. His intelligence is such a relief
after 8 years of :dunce: and :wtf:

3. Thanks for posting this.

I thought, apparently incorrectly, it would bring more reaction.

The President is clearly "practicing what he preached" in regard to Afghanistan and sounds level-headed. I'm uneasy, though, at the parallels in his focus on al Queda with those of the last administration.

4. georgee and his minions did very little about al qaeda
except gitmo and running around afghanistan making things messier. it was all saddam and iWaq. imagine if georgee hadn't turned to iWAQ at all. they just wanted things to blow up.

6. Might want to check the history on that.

I think GWB's record for mentioning Al Queda was 17 times in one speech or press conference.

9. Al Quaeda means anyone who is..
opposed to United States supremacy in the region. We/They haven't been at this for decades to just walk away without the pie.

5. I'll be completely honest with everyone
The reason why I was against the war in Iraq was precisely because of the fact that it had nothing to do with 9/11 and was a distraction from Afghanistan. Now going back into Afghanistan is pretty senseless because the Al Qaeda isn't even there anymore but I was never against is going in their initially. And yes, I STILL would like to see Bin Laden brought to justice and that doesn't make me a freeper for thinking that.

7. I know this is almost pointless to say, but as a veteran, and someone who loves this country...
...deeply, I can't help but to wonder how much better off we would have been had Obama been POTUS post during 9/11 than with Bush.

10. Quite frankly,
I think with either Obama OR Gore, 9/11 DOESN'T EVEN HAPPEN.
Either of them has enough brain to pay attention to "Bin Laden determined to strike in US".
