Did beck just call for Obama and Barney Franks to be staked like vampires?

These and other GOP ideas have always had much more limited appeal than the RW seems to be able to realize. assassination Beck and his ilk have the ability to complicate the obvious and trivialize the momentous. That they have any audience should disturb us in the least, given the size of their reported audience we should be frightened to action. Beck's "stake through the heart" comment should be applied to him, his fellow RW commentators and his cult like followers.

Some basic questions: Is changing the station or channel enough? What actual damage can/do they do? Are they harmless "entertainment" and if not, what can/should be done and by whom?

6. Two problems with that. 1) boycotts only work for a limited time.

The second time Cesar Chavez try to organize a boycott of grapes it did not work. Boycotts are only short term solution. 2) These guys can last for a long time without sponsor money. They get part of everyone cable fees each month, and some of their backers don't care if they lose money. The Washington Times loses money all the time. But the owner does not care. He want to influence policy in Washington. And those retard on the c-span read from that paper almost every morning, even though it has one of the tiniest circulations around. They will spend a fair amount to keep their influence.

The only real way to fix the MSM is put in the structure ownership limits and the other rules that keep the media actually fair and balance back in. The same way the banking mess resulted from the repeal of the 1930 banking laws. The cluster F can from Ronald Reagen repealing the media ownership rules.
