1. Totally unfair and unbalanced news
Neil was sooo unprofessional in this interview. He is supposed to be a "fair and balanced" journalist and yet he got personal and stuck up for the CEOs by being rude to this guy.

4. France and Germany demanded that we control executive pay.
This was one of their most important conditions for cooperation.

Obama and his G-20 counterparts aim to merge their national plans’ strengthened regulation into a united front to rein in hedge funds, derivatives trading, executive pay and excessive risk-taking by financial firms. Agreement on a regulatory approach would provide the G-20 summit with a measure of success even as leaders remain at odds over trade policy, fiscal stimulus and the status of the dollar.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aAQ2mX1K37Lc&refer=home

The French newspaper, Le Monde reported that Sarkozy in particular was insisting on controls with regard to executive pay. The leaders of our corporate world have made such a mess of our economy and our banking sector that we are at the mercy of the world in terms of setting the rules governing our institutions. Cavuto surely knows that the Obama administration has no choice but to come down hard on high executive pay.

I tried to get the archived article from that French newspaper, however, it is apparently only available with a subscription (which I don't have).

6. Neil Cavuto is the worst. Ugly inside and out.
At least Glenn Beck makes a valid point on occasion. Cavuto, on the other hand, I disagree with 100% every time.

7. Finally, someone posts how these greedy assholes never get enough..
I was searching yesterday for some clips on some of these assholes on the Bulls and bears and some of the other money shows on fox. I have been searching for a clip a few weeks ago where they were having a roundtable with the guy who played on Mash and the guy who looks like the guy on MAD tv the last guy I mention is really, really greedy.

These guys were arguing about if the country should set rules for drug testing people for their unemployment checks or foodstamps and how they don't think anyone should receive any type of help but all the while discussing how much more the banks and big business should get and promoting pancakes and other garbage in the stock market.

These bastards really don't get it. I think they will soon as more and more people begin marching to wallstreet or something else more serious happens. When looking at the news you can imagine a lot of scenarios happening these days.

9. positive trumps negative every time
...heard this at one of those corp seminars on customer service; Cavuto- pure negative (and beyond not credible) communication. The senator stayed positive. Cenk is absolutely right. The new Fox is Jerry Springer-Moulon Rouge-Big Brother style on steroids and hallucinogens. Wasn't there a mini-series in the 70's depicting a crazed media helping evil take over the country? Great post- thanks, IHNB.

very smart to paint Cavuto as defending the greedy Wall Street folks, he did it more than once, made Cavuto scramble to spout his fake populism.

12. Biggest. Suckass. EVER.
Man. Cavuto, do you need to dust yourself off . . . you know, for all of the CEO nutswinging you're doing? You're looking pretty bad, Sally. You're looking like the biggest nebbishy BITCH wearing glasses and an 80s preacher hairdo. GOD, how can anyone LISTEN to that? Grayson must have nerves of steel, because any one of us would have went off on that asswipe until the inevitable "cut his mike" came down.

Neil. Asshole. WE CALL THE SHOTS. Your buddies called the shots before. Your buddies FAILED. Your buddies bankrupted the economy and fired their workers. YOUR WAY LOST. These are the consequences. DEAL with it. DEAL with the consequences of propping up a failure of a system that's been killing America for 40 YEARS. Douche.

is a joke. I Cant believe people actually watch this guy for financial advise. It's like asking Palin for advice on dinosaurs.

Latest Drudge photo:

These idiots on the right wing are playing to an audience that is shrinking by large amounts daily. I am truly enjoying their 50 yard dash off the plank.

17. "Paranoid and delusional"...
is how Fox News earns their bread and butter. If you actually listen to Cavuto's words, they're completely void of any intelligence or reason; ere-go he only has anger and baseless accusation to resort to in order to give off any legitimate purpose. The thing that is most unfortunate is this is the Fox News/Fox News audience dynamic; the pundit speaks absolute fear-based nonsense while their audience watches and assumes "they're angry about that, I must be angry about that to". Anger to the Fox News' pundit is as a fake laugh-line on a bad sitcom; "insert emotion here"

19. absolutely
All of them except maybe Shepherd Smith spend the day yelling at their guests. Their goal is to humiliate and ask condescending questions. Never any in depth discussion or just common sense. It riles up the base but they don't know why..all they do is repeat what they've heard because if Fox is mad I have to be too. How many times have they had to apologize for their ignorant rants. Just recently they mocked Canadian forces in Afghanistan.

20. Ever noticed the GOP seems to think that "bureaucrats" only exist in govt?
If you work in the govt, you are "a faceless bureaucrat" or an "arbitrary bureaucrat." Who the hell do they think runs the insurance companies, or the banks, or any other large private business?

As we speak, faceless bureaucrats in the private health insurance and banking companies are making the arbitrary decisions affecting the life and death for millions of Americans. And they are accountable to nobody but the CEOs and corporate board members. They aren't even accountable to the shareholders, in any meaningful way.

I'll take the bureaucrats in govt, who are accountable to the people.
