6.3 magnitude earthquake hits 53 miles northeast of Rome and forces tens of thousands to leave their homes. At least 30 persons (including 5 children) are reportedly dead, and dozens more are expected to have perished, at least. The quake hit at approximately 3:30 am local time early Monday morning.

6. I have not seen any reports from Rimini but quake appears to be more south

Hopefully she is well and unable to contact you due to communications interruption - it happens a lot after these occur

in her group. As mentioned. it hit farther south. The group didn't feel anything. It it the main topic of discussion, of course. My heart goes out to those affected by the quake. Mama mia!!! Scary
