As O' Reilly and Beck claim to the filling the vacuum in the Republican leadership, they affectionately play footsie with each other's egos, trying to distance themselves from the violence they are inciting through their shows' tone and language. Sickening, but I happened to be out of vomit pills and I needed to do something.

3. Ha ha, O'Reilly just explained the reason why Fox is at the "top" in ratings.

He says something to the effect of if people are disenchanted with Obama, they have nowhere to go, so they go to Fox News. In that case, he's saying that it's really Fox against everybody else.

Well, if you compare the overall scores of Fox News with the combined scores of the rest (CNN, MSNBC, HLN), then Fox is not on top, really.

check it:

Total day: FNC: 381 | CNN: 200 | MSNBC: 134 | HLN: 185

That's Fox at 381, the rest at 519.

Looks to me like Fox is actually losing the ratings game.

9. Questioable claims

Any claim by Faux News people about their ratings has to be at least a little bit skewed. How many of us have gone into a restaurant, hospital, airport, whatever and seen every tv tuned to Faux News? If these are counted as viewers that would be misleading at best. Personally I don't know how anybody watches these clowns and I use the term clowns because on the few occasions I happened to be exposed to their antics not only are the people acting ridiculously silly but look at the sets with the colors and flashy lights they look like something right out of a circus.
