1. Bin Laden is probably dead, and if he's not why not just have McCain get him?
I heard him say several times during the primaries "I know how to get him my friends". So, he lost so he's keeping that info to himself?

3. McCain saying that if elected he could guarantee catching or killing him
and Cheney's smirk on the topic when talking about how history will look on the topic, implies that his status may be known but not discussed.

21. Benazir Bhutto said he was dead in an interview
shortly before she was assassinated. I have a feeling she would know something about that.

14. He's dead or dying. Ever since 02.

Surprisingly there is very little controversy about this and I have never heard the american media talk about this. Bhenazir Bhutto claimed that OBL was killed by a certain man - that announcement was made just a few days or weeks before she was killed.

If he is still alive, he isn't up to much. His kindey has been deteriorating ever since the late 80's. Some people, whom I generally trust, have pointed out to me that his sickness of the kidney, if not treated in a major way (transplantation etc.) would bind him to his bed defenitly within a few years. I think I heard that after the african embassy bombings.

His money though is most definitly still around.

10. Precisely, Dennis!
What I can't wrap my brain around, is why anyone believes OBL is still alive. W/his enormous ego, why would anyone think he would be quiet about his "victory"?

Whistle ass and deadeye dick knew in March 13, 2002 that he was dead...

22. Funny how the flow of Osama tapes ended once Dick and Dumbya left the WH.
Last year's video of a younger Osama was just too much. The majority of YouTube videos are more professional, scarier and more convincing. Who'd a thought they couldn't find even one competent A/V geek willing to compromise his or her integrity?

11. I'm still firm in my support of Obama.
Sometimes slowly, sometime indirectly, and many times "unreadable", but he has DELIVERED! The wacko-right (unlike many here on DU) has NO trouble recognizing that. Loofah-Boy, SpongeRush Fatpants, The Lizard Lady, Glen ("Teabagger") Beck --- ALL are freaking out over him!

But Dennis was always my "first love", and I still have some "DK 2004" memorabilia in my apartment. GO Dennis, GO!

nationalism and blowback.

28. apparently the government doesn't think bin Laden was involved with 9/11
http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm

check out the FBI's webpage.....never mentions the 9/11 attacks on bin Laden's page at all.

30. Foreign policy under the new administration
Edited on Sat Apr-11-09 05:07 PM by rollingrock
...is even more hawkish than Bush's.

During the campaign Obama swore up and down that he would begin immediate de-escalation in Iraq, but that hasn't happened and he has no plans for withdrawal. Obama does have plans, however, to build permanent military bases in Iraq. He intends to keep us there and in Afghanistan even longer than we've been in Vietnam and Cambodia.

31. YES...we INNOCENTS CRY OUT! WHERE IS OSAMA bin LADEN?
Edited on Sat Apr-11-09 05:49 PM by KoKo
 All of what we've lost in war and American's Tax dollars have gone to find this fellow. He keeps putting out video's before our Elections...

Cheney thinks he's ready to STRIKE any DAY NOW!

For the Trillions we've spent...where the hell IS this Guy? I thought Cheney said we were the "Greatest Nation on Earth"...but for all our Defense Spending we can't seem to find "Osama" and even when we send "Video Game Drones" we only kill "collateral damage," i.e. defenseless women and children.

WHERE IS HE, BUSH/CHENEY? WHERE IS OSAMA? Hiding out in DUBAI?...the "Pleasure Palace that's on the Skids?" WHERE?

35. John McCain knows how to catch Bin Laden,
but McCain's plan would work only if he were president. He of course couldn't tell us what his master plan is because it's super classified.

So.

Since we didn't elect McCain, the terrorists win. Jus' like they done told us.
