2. You know..
As misguided as these folks are, at least they are out thee standing up for what they believe in. Where the hell are all the protests demanding single payer health care??? You'd think with 45 Million uninsured we could seriously make health care for all a reality rather than rhetoric.

11. standing up for what they believe in.
Which is....what exactly? They're protesting their taxes being lowered? The whole point of this segment is the participants don't even know what they're protesting! It's just Pavlov's Dog reactions to a black, liberal president (who's only half black and not so very progressive)

Where the hell are all the protests demanding single payer health care???

I dunno. At work? Trying to make ends meet instead of standing out in the cold throwing consumer goods they had to pay for in the river?

Like someone said, this is not a protest. It's a tantrum. They're just mad because their ideas are bust and they lost.

It's a spectacle of "epic fail" and "pitiful".

5. I think they are just starting to wake up to the fact america has been screwed...
and are blaming Obama for what Bush did. As usual the right wing "base" is still several years behind the times regarding politics, sex, fashion, the economy, whats really happening in reality and the latest trends.
The good news is that we can just watch them to see whats out, what not to do, what not to wear and what not to think.
We can also see by their actions that they have NO regard for the water and are busy polluting the hell out of the bay there...I swear I saw at least one large plastic bag go over and who knows how many pounds of ???? were in those teabags.
How much metal were in those tags they threw in and how much acidity can water take without harming the fish and plants?
Who cleaned all that up when it was washed up on shore?
Speaking of teabags, I was slightly disappointed not to see any of them dropping their drawers and illustrating the meaning of the term.
As a decadent liberal I would have bought a ticket to that event. :)
There will be plenty to blame Obama for before his term is over I am sure..but let us not confuse Bush's mess with Obama's actions or lack there of. Much remains to be seen.

BARAK OBAMA

The following are ALL republican presidents (with the exception of Nixon who was a Quaker, but a GOP endorsed conservative nonetheless);

GERALD FORD (74-77):

Through his entire 3 year term Ford had taxes at:
%70 for those making $200,000 or more (married filing jointly)

RICHARD NIXON (69-74):

(same as Ford) Through his entire 3 year term Ford had taxes at:
%70 for those making $200,000 or more (married filing jointly)

DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (53-61):

Through his entire term Eisenhower had taxes at:
%91 for those making $400,000 or more (married filing jointly)

13. Along with those hightax rates were loopholes
that encouraged high income earners to invest back into the economy and keep money in circulation.
The trickle down Voodoo economics espoused by the current crop of wealthy elites and their subservient zombies allows for money to be shifted into off shore tax havens where in never circulates back into the economy, hence the current depression.

12. Imagine if the Iraq War Protests had gotten this much attention!
Obama should ignore these fools as much as the Bushies ignored the War protesters.

14. I liked the term "astroturf" for manufactured protests
I hadn't heard it before-- astroturf as opposed to grass roots -- for manufactured protests like the tea bag stuff.
