Yes, the economy is showing a few signs of progress, but not enough. And it certainly isn't enough to say that we've achieved our goal and we should immediately stop the stimulus spending. Mike Papantonio takes on Fox News' Bulls and Bears to try to teach them that if we stop spending now, we'll end up with an even worse economy.

1. with all the money
used in all the bailouts and stimulus, every mortgage in America could have been bought out and probably credit card debt as well.
That would have been trickle up economics.

I have read the total US mortgages were anywhere from 7 to over 14 trillion. The mortgages at risk are a small fraction of the total of course. We could buy all the at-risk mortgages easily though.

with in the last 6 months have stolen over 12 trillion, give or take it could have been possible.
At least the troubled could have been taken care of

my husband is in manufacturing and his phone has not rung for months. Nobody wants to buy a fucking thing. Manufacturing in some areas of this country is completely paralyzed.
