If the republicans did this (hell, if any other democrat did this) we would be manning the streets, torches in hand here on DU.

Just how is this different? I like the left-leaning touches that have been done, but he economy is the main topic now. Obama can't farm this out. He has to get up to speed.

Until we have more terrible consequences, we'll continue to see what appears to be the definition of partisan support by some (which is not *actual* support, it's enabling bad decisions).

You need z certain amount of wisdom or you will fail.

This is where Obama's age fails him. he came of age at atime when voodoo economics overthrew conventional economics.

And because of the economic filtering process that the Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush years provided, he cannot clearly envision what really needs tio be done.

That is one perspective on these advisers of Obama's.

But the other perspective is that perhaps he sees all too clearly that his choice is to be a Total Corporatist, and to ignore the needs of the middle incomed class, and instead offer the Big Boys in Power what they want on a platter, or he will not hvae the financial backing he needs for election year 2012.

...like Obama. Barrack Obama has repeatedly said he works for the people of the United States of America because we voted him in.

Now maybe he hasn't told us of his long term plans, and maybe he is setting these two clowns (Geithner and Summers)up for a fall, because I think maybe since Obama may have money ties to them, he will hold them for the ride until Elizabeth Warren and Congress tear into them.

Just a thought....and a bit bazaar maybe.

I voted for Obama. I support Obama. But the pom-poms are blocking too many people's hearing. I would like to see a pom-pommer actually "get" this. Maybe when they start questioning, our president will start listening.
