Here at JTMP we have teamed up once again with the activist band Op-Critical. This time they do a remake of the old Alvin Lee song "Change The World". Ten Years After put out his song back in 1971. It has updated and fresh lyrics, and a new arrangement. This version has a second lead solo that wasn't in the original one. This video is intended to inspire people to volunteer, act, and Change The World through individual actions.

2. Also....
....we are hoping everyone can watch the video all the way to the end. YouTube has a new policy of not counting views if it is aborted early.

If you go to YouTube, you can also watch it in widescreen HD!

Thanks!

..means they passed on the bit about "dikes and fairies".:eyes:

8. When I was growing up, this was my 'theme song'
my audio caffeine that got me out of bed in the morning.

I'd probably not have imagined that someone could do a rendition of it that might still get me out of bed in the morning but you guys did an excellent job of making that version!

And the upbeat reversal of the lyrics does justice as well :-)

14. National service bill gets Obama's signature
WASHINGTON - Calling on Americans to volunteer, President Barack Obama signed a $5.7 billion national service bill Tuesday that triples the size of the AmeriCorps service program over the next eight years and expands ways for students to earn money for college.

"We need your service, right now, in this moment in history. ... I'm asking you to stand up and play your part," said Obama, a former community organizer in Chicago. "I'm asking you to help change history's course."

Joining Obama was Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, who has been battling brain cancer. Kennedy championed the legislation with Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and the bill was named in honor of the Massachusetts Democrat.
