I was just watching a rerun of Washington Journal from this morning and Jethro called in to ask, "I guess we're supposed to get like all those socialists, those communists in Latin America."

JETHRO: BE VERY AFRAID! BOO!

5. Every time a Repug talking head spouts off about "the handshake"
they need to flash these pics of their Repug heroes on the screen, and ask them "Why did so many Republican Presidents shake so many commie hands?"

But of course, the media will not do that. MSM will chime right in with "How could Obama shake the hand of THAT socialist, and take THAT book."

15. Remember the old joke about Richard Nixon. It took Nixon to talk Communist China,
Edited on Mon Apr-20-09 12:41 AM by pam4water
because if anyone else did Nixon would have had them before the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

I only caught like 4 minutes of news this week end. I heard some about Obama saying he would not kidnap Chavez like Bush had. I'm assuming the TV talking heads were joking. Did Obama confirm that the USA "helped" (ie stuck forced him on a plane) and out of he Country during that coupe attempt in 2002 +/- 1? I saw Chavez on Charlie Rose talking about. Rose was very condescending to and dis-believing of Chavez. It wouldn't be the first time the USA was involve at least peripherals around coupe in South America. I was even a Casablanca type shocked.

Last week the freepers where complaining that Obama hadn't done enough to improve relations with Venezuela. Now they're compiling about Obama shading hands. All though to be fare the freepers idea of improved relations probably involve bombing them.
