9. I do think this song is kind of boring.

Seems like they made it just so they could put it in a Gatorade commercial. Green Day along with bands like The Queers, and Screeching Weasel used to be the soundtrack to many summer nights for me. Glad they are still doing well, but this song isnt for me.

My teen years were filled with pop-punk records, and Kerplunk, Dookie, and Insomniac all still get regular rotation in my car, but I thing this song is generic and boring sounding.

Looks like they're going for American Idiot part II on the album. I thought the album itself was a great work of art, separated from the fact that it's the same band I used to see in clubs back in the early 90's, but yeah I'd be lying if I didn't say I still think "Kerplunk" is the best album they ever made.
