The guy shifts position for political expedience, which is why he went from a moderate Republican (who admitted he'd be a Democrat by Utah standards) to positioning himself to the far-right of the Republican Party.

Utahns know Romney. They know him well because he endorsed Salt Lake's liberal (and self proclaimed socialist) mayor, he flirted with running as governor as a Democrat and hinted at his more progressive views, which were on full display in 1994 when he ran against Teddy.

But he'll say he had an awakening, yet I don't buy it.

He changed too much too fast.
