1. They have become unhinged.
They are reduced to arguing that we have to ignore the law because the previous administration's ends justifies their means. And to prosecute "would tear the country apart".

3. yep, and I've hear the wingnuts say "it's only TWO people we did this to, and they treat it like
we did this to every enemy combatant we kept!" funny, but I thought the rule of law was the rule of law - breaking the law is not breaking the law since we justified breaking the law???? I'm confused... then why is there law????

effin morons.

4. These would be the same people who, when news of Abu Giraib came out...
...repeated the Daily Dittopoints and said these weren't just any prisoners, these were the worst of Saddams thugs, rape room guards, etc.

So now suddenly it's only two guys?

2. "for the love of God, Pat, let me finish!" - haaaaa funny hearing Prof. Turley finally cracking
and calling out one of these jabberwakkies for their incessant interruptions! haha...

Turley's final points towards the end were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! We wouldn't tolerate it in a police dept.! spot on!

5. Yeah, what's the point of asking him a question and as soon as
he began answering it, they constantly interrupt him so he can't answer the question!!

WHAT'S THE POINT?? :grr:

6. Turley showed them their ass.
I thought Pat was pretty logical for about the first minute, but he regressed to his usual idiotic self afterward. These two apes are unbelievable and the corporations pay them to be. We DO live in a Banana Republic if we don't address this PRONTO.

8. What the hell did I just watch? Oh my god.
:grr: So it appears that Matthews and Buchanan are :Laws Shmaws--Unless it's a stain on a blue dress---then we're all about the rule of law. Turley deserves a medal for enduring those crackpots.

24. My sentiments, exactly.
It takes a complete lack of objectivity to embrace the Pat position. But, as you said, they were crazy to 'get Clinton' over a consensual sex act. The excuses from the right become more convoluted every day.

9. Turley wasn't "alone" on the criminal actions,
MSM snubbed everyone or labeled them any of a dozen slurs such a unAmerican, etc.
Matthews, get a clue. You're struggling to catch up so just assume you know nothing.

Not that it matters. Matthews is as manipulated as Lou Dobbs, just a bit more subtly.

12. "...going to tear the country apart..."?
It's pretty close already, from what little I see. And this little to-do about the legality of laws has a pretty significant role in that. Without an honest investigation, there will probably be more polarization and schism. An honest investigation would put closure on it and allow the country to come back together.

Maybe.

All Matthews and Buchanan do is continue to demonstrate the degree of their irrelevancy.

22. Turley doesn't usually do these panel spots.
He's usually one on one with the anchor, giving a respectful interview. After this debacle, he's unlikely to volunteer for any more panel positions.

If you added up Matthews's and Buchanan's IQs, they wouldn't equal Turley's.

He needs to stick with Keith and Rachel who allow him to get his points across.

35. I have agreed with Matthews many times
and disagreed with him many times. But that is not my issue with his show...he is just flat unwatchable. Turley is consistently trying to make a point and Matthews just can't shut up long enough to let him make it. I have never liked this, even when he is interrupting and vilifying people I also don't like.

Chris, shut up and let them speak...it is ok to let them finish before you ask your follow-up. It is no crime to listen.

I refuse to watch Matthews show because you just can't follow it with his constant bickering interruptions. I don't know why anyone from either party would ever go on...it's just a colossal waste of time.

Is the "America" you're talking about the one which has devolved into torturing suspects? If so, it has already been "torn apart" and it has ceased to exist for quite some time.

Get a bloody clue.

Then try to pull your head out of your fat ass before you open your stupid mouth.

Thanks

It's really hard to fit torture into the liberal bag of tools. Conservatives, not so much.
