There is an article about this on ABC News. Adkins was murdered at the beginning of the year when a man broke into his apartment in Ethiopia and bludgeoned him during a robbery. A waste of a promising life!! I would like to point out the comment of the father of Brian's best friend. What a difference from the previous administration!!!

"Brian Adkins was my son's BEST FRIEND How could anyone accuse Hillary of fake tears. Brian was an incredible young man who touched everyone he met. To dishonor his memory with a political agenda is absolutely disgusting. At least she is taking the time to honor him compared to when he was sworn in and Ms. Rice was in the building and couldn't be bothered to congratulate the new appointees."

2. I am glad Hillary was there to give the tribute..............
As for those below the belt comments about fake tears. There are a lots of immature folks out there who say things for the express purpose of hurting someone.

thanks for the post.

15. I had no problem with the first video.
I neglected to see if the link I posted worked and now it's past the time for editing it, so I can't try again. Well, lesson learned for next tie. LOL!!!!

11. People on the net are mean spirited, anonymity gives them cover.
Most are young and male. There is a dose of immaturity and sexism in their comments.

8. I'm with Brian's bf's father about these petty, political remarks.
Those who looked at this as an opportunity to express their contempt for Hillary & put the focus on "fake tears" are vile creatures themselves, thinking nothing of taking away from the memory of this incredible, gifted human being honored.

14. It always amazes me that when something tragic happens
Edited on Sun May-03-09 03:24 PM by Beacool
there are so many people who make truly disgusting remarks. I happened to see this video on the news and it had me in tears, even though I didn't know the young man. But it is always a tragedy to hear of a life snuffed before it had reached its full potential. May he rest in peace and condolences to his family and friends.

18. Hillary's not that good an actor. It's real. I know a State Dept. courier who had her arm bitten
off by a lion in Africa.

19. Oh my goodness!!!!
The poor woman!!! Is she alright? Where was she that the lion got to her?

:scared:

As for Hillary, she usually holds it well in public but she's a softie in private and tears up easily.

;)
