61. IMAGINE
Please, just take one minute, and imagine what a great country
we would have, if ALL politicians were like Dennis Kucinich.
He represents his constituents and does not sell himself to
corporate interests. We would really be THE GREATEST NATION ON
EARTH if all of our politicians were like this.

Edited on Thu May-14-09 11:46 AM by suzie
passed whatsoever!

But, how would the Kucinich Klaque figure out which of the DK clones to blame for absolutely nothing getting done?

It's so easy now--Dennis talks and everyone else in Congress gets the blame for their lack of being Dennis Kucinich.

2. Sen. Baucus tells single-payer supporters protesting the "expert witnesses..."
...of his hearings, all who came from the health insurance/pharma corps., that he'll meet with them in is office afterwards. Then we have this scum saying he'll meet with Kucinich after the hearings.

I getting sick and tired of this "meet with me at another time and place, preferably behind closed doors, and I'll hear your concerns" horseshit.

Address the question(s) NOW, and in a PUBLIC FORUM!!!

for him. They say that they don't agree with his ideology, but since he always "does right by the people" they give him their vote. Funny how even conservatives who actually KNOW DK support him, but kneejerk DLCers don't!

63. I'M HEARING A LOT OF WIND FROM THIS POST
I voted the lesser of two evils and voted for Obama. I
donated to Kucinich and wanted to "throw my vote away on
him." Sadly, all that I have seen from Obama is a
continuation of Bush policies. If Kucinich were there, we
would see prosecutions, peace and no bailouts for the wealthy
but probably a lot of "trickle up" economics. Which
would have improved our economy and country 100%. Sorry you
have no common sense Butch, Maybe with age?

64. LEMMINGS
Lemmings are so easily manipulated by the corporate media. If
we had THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE reinstated I believe we would see
a vast improvement in citizen awareness and definitely a
better informed public. As it is now, the truth was sold to
the highest bidder (free market theory is B.S. unless you're
wealthy and without a conscious). Also, we have one of the
most corrupt electoral systems in the world. The international
committee on elections has said that, over and over. A
candidate who really wants to represent the people, unless he
is super wealthy, doesn't stand a chance. Even our
constitution was written to "maintain the status
quo." The first sentence in the preamble...

We need to get behind this guy in the next presidential primary. He may not have much of a chance, but the left needs to send a message to the moderates in the democratic party who are too willing to bend over for these bailout packages that do nothing to help average Americans.

74. For me, the more I saw the tape of the "Dean scream" the less impact it had
As I watched it for the 200th time I realized it was pretty much just what Wellstone used to do. Jump all over the stage, get a little loud and get the rabble all "roused" up. Dean's behavior, while maybe a bit out of character for hime, began to look normal to me.

. . .entering an arranged marriage while all along the true heart is pining for another.

Obama has shown to be the "Great Equivocator". . .will he prosecute torturers. . .will he privatize social security. . .will he end the wars. . .will he include single-payers at the table. . .keeps us people guessing while he decides what's best for HIM.

Kucinich is the "Real Change" we should have voted into the White House. . . prosecute. . .no privatize. . .no wars. . .of course single-payer. . .never keeps us guessing while he decides what's best for THE PEOPLE.

When all the Obama equivocating fails, THIS TIME I'll march right behind the Kucinichs as we vote with our feet . . .

Loving you more than ever, Dennis and Elizabeth. . .
